This training is specifically for new teams that have NOT taken the Jeff Sprague BEST Training. Booster training will be offered at a later date for folks who have already participated in the BEST Training.
The goal of this training is to guide school sites through the process of developing and sustaining a school wide Positive Behavior Support system. In order to implement RtI in the area of behavior, school sites must develop a system of universal screening, site wide teaching of positive behaviors and a mechanism to support staff in ongoing implementation.

Tier 3 & 4 Behavior Support
Teams consist of five (5) members where the administrator will be actively involved. Suggested Teams can include any one of the four (4) listed with the fifth being the administrator:
Administrator (actively involved and required)
Special Education Teacher
Parent
General Education Teacher
Classified Staff Representative
Related Service Staff Person
PLEASE NOTE: EACH TEAM MEMBER MUST INDIVIDUALLY REGISTER (one person cannot sign up and assume the others are registered - thank you).
Stipends will be given to teams of five (5) who participate for the full two-day training.
Registration is on a first come-first served basis.
Due to budget constraints, lunch will be on your own. Unfortunately, there are not lot of places around SCREC for lunch so I would suggest you "brown bag" it. Thank you!

When you arrive at the parking structure, follow the signs for SDCOE Employee and Visitor Parking and proceed to the outside TOP LEVEL. Park anywhere on this level.
We share this structure with Southwestern College and you will be given a municipal ticket (with fine) if you park on any of the lower levels.
From the TOP LEVEL, use the stairwells or the elevator to the first Level. Enter the South County Regional Education Center on your left using the front entrance.
