The San Diego County Office of Education invites you to join us as we view, learn, and evaluate proposed solutions for the new state-of-the-art enterprise business system. CGI:  May 14 - 18, 2012 Tyler Technologies:  May 21 - 25, 2012 CherryRoad Technologies: June 4 - 8, 2012 Registration Instructions In order to accommodate payroll deadlines, each week follows a different schedule.  Please keep this in mind when selecting sessions.  Each session (with the exception of the Integrated Session) will be presented twice for each vendor demonstration.  All sessions can accommodate up to 50 participants each. If your first choice for a session is full, you will be placed in the 2nd session.   The Integrated Session can hold up to 50 participants and is presented three times in one week. To objectively evaluate each demonstration, each participant is required to evaluate each vendor demonstrations of the same business section they attended. For example, if you evaluate the HR sessions for Vendor A, you must evaluate the HR sessions for Vendor B and Vendor C for an objective evaluation. If you are completely unable to register, please contact Sakura Hamada at shamada@sdcoe.net and provide: your name, district, the date & session you are trying to register for.  Please note that this is to troubleshoot any registration problems or errors and not to register you. We encourage attendees to carpool.  Cafe vendor will be onsite to sell lunch. Your participation will contribute to the success of the business modernization and help support students throughout San Diego by ensuring that you have the right tools to effectively meet their schools' needs.

Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD) is a model of professional development in the area of language acquisition and literacy for grades K-8.  Project GLAD's National Training Center is located at the Orange County Department of Education in Costa Mesa, CA.  GLAD's basic training consists of a pre-requisite two-day overview and an in classroom demonstration (four or five days).

Number & Operations: Base 10 - gain a deeper understanding of place value and the properties of operations using concrete models and drawings.  Use current instructional materials to  analyze and prepare lessons that align to the CCSS.
