Equity for All:  Inclusion in High School ASSETs Programs

Join experts in equity and access in this engaging and collaborative workshop designed to create a culture of inclusion in High School ASSET programs. This workshop will provide an overview of equity and diversity issues, an introduction to addressing the socio-emotional needs of English Learners, as well as strategies for staff to take back to implement in their ASSET programs

Participants will:
- Explore and define equity and diversity
- Obtain a deeper understanding of the youth and communities you are serving
- Gain strategies for assessing and expanding your program's efforts to effectively serve diverse students
- Deepen our understanding on how to address the socio-emotional needs of immigrant and English Learner students
