An Exploration of Mixed Media: Building Layers of Complexity A Hands-On Workshop Presented by PATRICIA HUNTER MCGRATH
Learn the techniques of watercolor, chalk, pastels, neo color, oil sticks, tempra and how these can be used by children to build layers of complexity that supports their learning. How do we introduce these materials to children? How do they support collaboration and negotiation among children? How do mixed dry and wet media support creativity and imagination? What are the alphabets of these media? Explore how children use these media to make their ideas visible.
