Expanding upon the Preschool English Learners: Resource Guide (2007) training presented by CPIN, this workshop focuses on exceptional learners, including children with IEP's. This session addresses four major outcomes:
current issues related to service and systems
characteristics of language difference versus disorder
cultural considerations and appropriate instructional stategies and
the importance of collaboration in creating effective services
