Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD) is a model of professional development in the area of language acquisition and literacy for grades K-8. Project GLAD\'s National Training Center is located at the Orange County Department of Education in Costa Mesa, CA. GLAD\'s basic training consists of a pre-requisite two-day overview and an in classroom demonstration (four or five days).
